An inaccessible material both in terms of technology and manufacture for the aristocratic classes royal courts Europe especially prominent politically, socially culturally Italy, porcelain was until beginning eighteenth century an ‘impossible dream’ which only through a limited number Chinese wares could be satisfied. However early highly decorative playful Rococo period, its discovery Germany inaugurated new era European arts. Hard-paste soon introduced Northern Italy started being produced cities Venice Florence respectively creating order great historical field ceramic This initiated long and, at same time, glorious porcelainobjects production throughout country, many are now rare examples valuable heritage history arts worldwide. paper aims to document clearly methodically value these events, focusing on two first Italian hard-paste factories development stressing significance their products.
